Summer Cruise Recommendations

There is a chance I may take a summer cruise next year. My initial thought is to take a cruise along the Alaskan coast, but I'm also considering a cruise through the Scandanavian countries in Europe.

Has anyone been on a summer cruise who could recommend good lacations and summer cruise lines?
