Boundary Waters Vacations

The Boundary Waters area of northern Minnesota is a dream come true for adventure travelers. Over one million acres in size, the Boundary Waters offers over a thousand routes for canoe and camping adventures.

No vehicles are allowed into the wilderness area so all food and gear must be brought in on your canoe while all trash must be brought back out. You can rent a canoe from many outfitters who will give you a map that will show canoe routes and campsites.

Make sure you make your camp well before nightfall. Campsites can't be reserved so you might have some trouble if you push on to a distant campsite only to find that someone else is already camping in the spot.

Many people travel to the Boundary Waters to find the great fishing and wilderness.
