Minneapolis Summer Vacations

Travel to Minneapolis this summer to find a great city in a cooler northern summer climate. Minneapolis is home to the University of Minnesota so there are plenty of low cost student restaurants, activities, and summer apartment sublets.

Unlike many college towns in the Midwest, Minneapolis is also a huge city with pro sports teams, huge shopping districts, and an expansive theater district. In fact, Minneapolis has the highest concentrations of theaters second only to New York.

If you visit Minneapolis in the summer make sure you take a walk in the Lake Calhoun area. This is a great place to spend an afternoon having a picnic and taking a walk.
