Mount Rainier National Park

The Cascade Mountain Range is a great summer vacation destination with the peak season from July through September. The Pacific weather currents bring moderate summer temperatures and of course it gets cooler the higher in elevation you hike. Mount Rainier National Park is highlighted by the towering peak of 14, 411 feet. Hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails cover the landscape of alpine meadows, old growth forests, and rushing mountain streams.

Make sure to use the tools on the price check and reservations page to find a vacation package allowing you to enjoy an extended stay in Mount Rainier National Park. The longer you stay, the better chance you have of seeing the peak emerge from behind the clouds. Otherwise, enjoy the cloud cover as you exercise and go sight seeing without a glaring sun beating you down.
