Oregon Summer Vacations

Portland - The Pacific Coastline and snow-capped Mt. Hood provide a natural setting for a city full of diverse culture and activities. Theaters, micro breweries, coffeehouses, and musical venues provide the intellectual stimulation and diverse culture Portland Oregon is famous for. Adventure travelers can take advantage of the sunny days by hiking or mountain biking through the Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and the Columbia River Gorge area.

Eugene - The college town of Eugene is known for its laid back attitude and for the ample summer services available when the students from the University of Oregon are on summer vacation. Eugene and the Willamette National Forest have always been a magnet for summer hiking and biking enthusiasts while rafting on the Willamette River provides adventure when your feet are too sore for more hiking.

Hwy 101 takes you along the Pacific Northwest coastline where you will find the seals and the surf easily accessible by parks and villages. There is ample camping available in Oregon and the Oregon wine country is growing in popularity.
