Vancouver Summer Vacations

When you think of a place in Canada, diversity is not usually the first thing you think of and that is what sets Vancouver apart. Vancouver has become a gathering point for many people who flock to the moderate summer temperatures that combine with the natural and cultural beauty of Vancouver. Vancouver Chinatown is extensive and was founded by the individuals who were working on the trans-Canadian railroad in the late 1800's.

Spend some time in Stanley Park which is filled with walking, hiking, biking, and roller-blading paths. The Vancouver Aquarium is also in Stanley Park. Try Sunset Beach Park, Jericho Beach, and Kitsilano Beach for a summer retreat.

Whistler is a ski resort town north of Vancouver that has great hiking and downhill biking trails with off season summer rates.
